Pigeon Info

Breed: Birmingham Roller  Year: 2011  Gender: Hen
Color: Blue Bar w/f  Band: NPABE3034-11

Description: This is from my Turner/my old family crosses. I didn't want to cross the Turner birds with my old family but I was short on hens. She has 2011 band, because she was born early Jan before I received my 2012 bands. This bird is an exceptional spinner, 40 feet and really, really fast blur. In fact every time she landed, she had a Chinese Owl crest in her chest from those fast spins. Crashed couple of times when she was between the ages of 4 to 6 months, but she has become one of my best performers that I could count on. She rolls 2, sometimes 3 times a minute. My plan was to put her parents together again but I lost the hen.

Father of the Pigeon

Bred: Birmingham Roller  Year: 2008  Gender: Hen
Color: Ash Red Bald Head  Band: NBRC489H-08
Description: She is one of my best performers and I flew her 2 years in a row in the NBRC 11 bird competition. She is 20 to 30 feet, fast and frequent performer and a great kit flyer. She bounces sometimes, and hurt herself couple of times in the last 2 years. She is a Pensom and Smith/Plona mix. She developed within 6 months. I am very happy with her development and her performance. She is one of my best performers and I plan to use her as a breeder this year.

Mother of the Pigeon

Bred: Birmingham Roller  Year: 2011  Gender: Cock
Color: Blue Bar w/f  Band: TC032-11
Description: He was breed by Ty Coleman and given to me in 2011. The sire of this bird is SCFR 10-995 blue bar w/f pure Rambo banded by James Turner. Hen is the CCPRC 10-25 reduced blue bar bred by Cliff Ball direct off of James Turner’s reduced pair. This means this cock bird is carrying the reduced gene. Some of the babies so far were webbed feet and they are extremely fast 30 feet spinners. No doubt this bird will be one of the best producing breeders of my Rollers.
