Pigeon Info

Breed: Turkish Tumbler Ankara  Year: 2009  Gender: Cock
 Color: Lavender  Band: NPADA964-09p1

Description: He is one of the best looking cream bar Turkish Tumblers I have showing specs because of the black pigmentation he inherited from his father. He developed very early but still working on perfecting his combinations. It is very exciting watching this young bird fly. He will be used as a breeder to produce more offspring Ankara birds with front crest.

Father of the Pigeon

Bred: Turkish Tumbler - Ankara  Year: 2006  Gender: Cock
Color: Black Front Crested (Ön Tepe Arap)  Band: OX015-06
Description: This bird is my best Turkish Takla performer. He flies over an hour and puts 4 or 5 tight combinations together. He pulls himself upwards about 20 feet or more. He flies longer and puts more combinations together every time I fly him. As he gets more endurance to fly preferable 2 hours or more he will be an excellent tumbler. He is also one of my top breeders and I could say he is my foundation cock bird for the Ankara family. I am very happy with the babies I’ve raised from him and he is contributing a lot to my front crested Ankara family that I am working on.

Mother of the Pigeon

Bred: Turkish Tumbler - Ankara  Year: 2008  Gender: Hen
Color: Ash-yellow (cream Bar)  Band: NPAHN989-08
Description: She was an average tumbler, when I stopped flying her and use her as a breeder. She was less than a year old and didn’t show me her true potential when I decided to breed out of her during the hawk season. When I flew her after the hawk season she became a tumbling and performing machine and I am going to breed more offspring out of her. She quickly became my foundation Ankara hen with her great performance. She is also very, very unique because she is one of the few ash hens that has brown flecks in her feathers.
