Pigeon Info

Breed: Turkish Tumbler - Ankara  Year: 2008  Gender: Hen
Color: Ash-yellow (cream Bar)  Band: NPAHN989-08

Description: She was an average tumbler, when I stopped flying her and use her as a breeder. She was less than a year old and didn’t show me her true potential when I decided to breed out of her during the hawk season. When I flew her after the hawk season she became a tumbling and performing machine and I am going to breed more offspring out of her. She quickly became my foundation Ankara hen with her great performance. She is also very, very unique because she is one of the few ash hens that has brown flecks in her feathers.

Father of the Pigeon

Bred: Turkish Tumbler Ankara  Year: 2007  Gender: Cock
 Color: Lavender (Kirli)  Band: NPAKE601-07
Description: This bird is very special for me. He is the first pigeon I’ve ever raised and trained in USA. He was hatched in July 8 2007. It’s too bad the hawk got his sister who was a dun with white flights. He is an average tumbler but an excellent breeder. He prefers to perform in higher altitudes but does put 3 or 4 combinations of tumbles together. He is a spread ash red (lavender) and got this color from his recessive white father (also ash-red) and a spread dun mother, which means he is also hetero for dilute.

Mother of the Pigeon

Bred: Turkish Tumbler - Ankara  Year: 2008  Gender: Hen
 Color: Dun Bar  Band: NPAHN951-08
Description: I did not have time to fully train her for performance but she was an average tumbler when I decided to breed out of her. She is coming from a good blood lines and would have been a good performer in time if flown regularly and trained properly.
