Bred: Turkish Tumbler Mardin |
Year: 2005 |
Gender: Hen |
 |
| Color: Brown Checker Honey Chest (Kınalı Miski) |
Band: OX026-05 |
Description: This hen is half front crested who is mother was Mardin Blue Checker w/ marked tail (Aynali Miski) and the father was Mardin brown Checker. I got her from Murat Ozel’s loft, a master breeder in Nebraska. I have been advised not to fly this bird and only use it as a breeder as her ancestors were Turkish Champions on performing competitions. Most of the babies I’ve raised from her come with white tail feathers (Aynali) and they are great performers. She is my foundation hen also, contributing a lot to my front crested Mardin family that I am working on.
